In 2008 we registered as a domiciliary care services known as ‘Arundel
Domiciliary Care Services Ltd’.
Through our Domiciliary care agency we provide support to individuals
who hold their own tenancy in ‘Supported living’ homes. This support is
provided under the domiciliary Care Standards and the REACH
standards i supported living.
In partnership with our housing provider we support individuals in small
group homes over a 24 hour period. Each Individual holds their own
tenancy and support is provided to them on a daily basis dependent on
their assessed needs.
We currently support individuals in single services up to a maximum of
4 individuals sharing a property. Dependent on individuals needs there
will be overnight support, either a member of staff sleeping in or waking
night.
We provide support to service users with mild, moderate and severe
learning disabilities and to those with challenging behaviour and
additional complex needs. Each supported living service has been
developed around the needs and compatibility of each service user and
staff support is provided through core staffing, and additional 1:1 or 2:1
staffing needs.
At present we have 8 supported living homes across East Sussex,
Brighton & Hove and Surrey.
