Arundel Care Services established in 2005 provides both residential
care and supported living to adults with Learning Disabilities across
Sussex and Surrey.
The founders have worked within learning disability services
for over 30 years and come from a clinical or nursing background.
We aim to ensure that Arundel Care Services provides exceptional
support to those that use our services.
We specialise in supporting individuals with Challenging Behaviour, those on the Autistic Spectrum as well as other complex and specialist needs. Arundel Care Services adopts the use of Positive Behaviour Support within all of our services and with our own Behaviour Specialists
ensure that our staff are trained to the highest possible standard.
This enables our Service Users to be supported by staff who understand
the importance of working proactively in supportive and functional
environments which in turn supports individuals to lead fulfilling lives.
Alongside the use of Positive Behaviour Support we have adopted
the philosophy of PROACT-SCIPr-UK®. This is a whole approach to
working with individuals with challenging behaviour and uses
proactive, active and reactive strategies. Physical Interventions are
taught in line with the BILD code of practice. Both behaviour
specialists are PROACT-SCIPr-UK® trainers and deliver the training
to all Arundel Care Services employees.
